A New York Getaway

A long weekend in one of our favorite cities in the world: NYC!

We started off the weekend by taking a sailboat out on the Hudson listening to the sounds of a live jazz band and a glass (or three) of champagne to enjoy the night. Be sure to peek at the pictures of the Statue of Liberty! It was definitely the closest any of us have gotten to see her in person.

It was some of the most stunning views of New York any of us has ever seen and being able to experience it all from a sailboat on the Hudson was a major highlight.

The weekend officially started with us getting up early to walk the High Line. If you’ve never been to the High Line, it should be immediately added to your bucket list in NYC. Incredible views. Fun street art. And a stunning outdoor garden that you won’t really find anywhere else.

Afterward, we headed to Greenwich to see all the boutiques and enjoy a mixture of window shopping and actual shopping (!!).

One of the biggest highlights of the weekend, though? Seeing the cast of Sex and the City shooting scenes for the reunion show on one block and going to The Comedy Cellar and experiencing some of the best up-and-coming comedians. It was a truly magical New York experience and if you’ve ever needed a sign to sign up for one of our group trips—this is it.
