Best Time to Travel: 

England is quite lovely anytime of year. Just be aware that some periods will be a little more grey, or rainy. The best time to go would be in the summer, between April and September, this country shines then and most museums and sites are open later.  

Suggested Itineraries: 

London, of course, is the spot to visit when you go to England. There is so much to see and do, you could spend your whole trip here. Try to spot some royals at Buckingham palace or relive history in the Tower of London. Westminster Abbey is the final resting spot of many famous Londoners, and is also a breathtaking site. Any museum junkie is going to love all the ones that London has to offer, including the Victoria and Albert Museum, the British Museum, the Natural History Museum, and the Tate Modern. All of these museums house rare and important pieces from all over the world. London is also fairly close to Stonehenge, an awesome ancient site that is thousands of years old. Any fan of Downton Abbey will also need to visit to Highclere Castle. The grounds alone are enough to go see this stunning estate.   

Any sort of music fan will want to visit Liverpool. Tons of music venues, as well as the childhood homes of the Beatles are here. See where The Beatles got their start, as well as many museums surrounding maritime themes. Liverpool also has a very lively soccer scene. Be sure to catch a match here! 

For eons, Bath has been sought out by those who wish to relax. Many of Jane Austen’s heroines slipped away to Bath for months at a time to bathe in the natural waters. Spend some time in the Roman Baths, where visitors come and marvel at the intricate Roman influences and the hot steam baths. Unfortunately, visitors cannot go into the water. The Thermae Bath Spa, however, is. While a more modern look encloses the baths, the experience is truly unique.
